This project is an interactive audiovisual installation that transforms sound into projected visual responses. By receiving sounds at different frequencies, the system generates and triggers corresponding visual effects in real time. The installation consists of a rectangular structure built with aluminum linear shafts, with white plates placed on the structure. Visual projections are displayed directly onto the plates, while audiences can interact with the work through instruments, movement, or surrounding sounds.
The work explores the idea of sound as a form of "food" and investigates the relationship between different media and sensory experiences. Plates are traditionally used to contain food, yet here they contain sound itself. An invisible and intangible medium is recontextualized into something visually presented and spatially experienced. Through this transformation, the project questions how sound can be perceived beyond hearing, creating a cross-media connection between audio, image, object, and body. Audience interaction continuously reshapes the projected visuals, allowing the installation to remain in a constantly changing and responsive state.
